Sree Krishna Inn bought its own charm into the vegetarian food scene in Kochi when they opened back in 2000. This restaurant which is actually a house converted into a restaurant brings the feel of being a guest at a posh, quaint residence rather than a restaurant. Most of their customers are loyal to this restaurant and visits this place repeatedly as the relationship they have is that of a cordial host to guest one.
When you are travelling from Dharbal Hall Road to warriam Road, this restaurant is located on the right side, near to Chinmaya Vedhaya Peed. They have a landscaped compound and ample amount of parking space managed by security guards. Once you get to this place, they treat you like you have reached home and that experience is what makes this place different from your usual vegetarian hotels.
But then however good your service might be it won’t be enough if you can’t back it up with decent dishes. Sree Krishna Inn has a pretty wide menu which covers almost all the popular dishes from both North and South Indian cuisines. Chilli Panner, Mushroom Fried Rice, Paneer Butter Masala Curd Vada, Paav Bhajji are some of the must try dishes from this place. They do have every other South Indian dishes like Dosas, Idliy etc too.
Their afternoon special North Indian Thali is also quite popular for its variety of side dishes they serve with it. Dishes from Jain cuisine is another one of their specialities. Although only few dishes are available, it still has many takers among their customers. Their menu also has an array of different desserts and juices too, which you can select to finish off your meals with a sweet note.
Ambience of the restaurant is made warm with posh traditional type furnishing. The whole space is painted with bright colours and warm lighting to give that retro house feel that has worked out in making their customers feel relaxed and right at home.
