Arabic cuisine and tandoor dishes served at reasonable price and awesome ambience. What’s there not to like about this place? Salwa Dine restaurant opposite SBT NRI premium branch at Vellayambalam, will be open from 11 am to 11 pm every day. Evening and dinner hours are the best time to visit this restaurant that is famous for their shawaya chicken, tandoori chicken, butter chicken etc.
This place has ticked all the right column you would expect from a decent family restaurant. Salwa dine restaurant won the hearts and minds of the foodies in the city with their delicious dishes from Arabic and Tandoor cuisines.
Located at Vellayambalam, on Shashthamanghalam road, opposite SBT NRI premium branch, this restaurant has pretty good parking space available near to the restaurant, just after the roundabout on Shasthamangalam road, before the restaurant.
Served with a wedge of lime, sliced onion and cucumber, Tandoori chicken is one of their frequently ordered dish, with chewy pieces and slightly spicy masala. This perfectly grilled dish with yummy taste is best suited with the kubbus they serve at this place. Shawai chicken is another item from the grilled area that got famous from their Arabic cuisine. A dish which is marinated and kept for atleast 8 hours to get perfectly seasoned pieces with mildly spicy masala and very delicious taste for you to relish upon.
Clay colored dish with butter grated on top, Butter chicken from here is customer’s favorite from their gravy dishes. The luscious taste of butter gravy is simply a treat for your taste buds, so does the chicken immersed in the gravy. They have two main kitchens, in which the second one only gets active during the evening hours when their tandoor and grilled section starts functioning.
Although they serve north Indian and Chinese cuisines during afternoon hours, evening dinner hours are their rush hours, when they start serving Arabic and Tandoor dishes. They have a beautiful ambience set with ornate chairs and granite topped tables, but they could have done better, if they had an air conditioned dining area too. Service is also pretty fast and organized that there wont be much waiting period once you placed your order.
They serve variety of fresh juices and have a separate section to deal with such orders. Same goes for their parcel service, which gets active during evening hours. If you are a lover of grilled food then this is a place you cab definitely visit with your friends or family.
