Paragon Restaurant, the legends for Dum Biriyani opened their first restaurant in Ernakulam in 2014. They are located inside Lulu mall at Edapally and serve their customers a lot more than just Biriyani. They are open from 11 am to 11 pm on all days of the week and they serve dishes in cuisines ranging from oriental to Indian. The best time to visit this place will be during their lunch and dinner hours.
Just go to Calicut and ask anyone where is Paragon restaurant and they will tell you the direction. They have been serving their patrons for more than 75 years and serves one of the best foods available in the city. Now come to Ernakulam and ask somebody where is Paragon Restaurant, still they will show you the place. For a restaurant started just in 2014, it is a pretty impressive feat.
Located on three floors of Lulu Mall at Edappally, this restaurant is one of the best fine dine restaurants in the city now. They started on the second floor of the Mall, and as the popularity increased, more and more patrons started to flow in, and they soon expanded to two more levels to accommodate the rush.
Apart from their Biriyani, which is a must try item from this restaurant, patrons who come to this restaurant try their Malabar dishes which they are also widely appraised. The elaborate menu is based on Oriental, Arabian, Continental and North Indian cuisines. In the evenings, they have an open Kitchen set up in dining areas where they prepare live Kerala dishes such as puttu, palappam, etc. They also have a live seafood area where you can select the fish that are prepared per your order.
They have some innovative dishes for you to try, which is a fusion of different cuisines. Neypayasam with ice cream, dancing tea are some of such dishes from their menu. The three vast dining areas of the restaurant are furnished in a sleek manner and decorated with paintings and soft lighting. They have pleasant waiters who have pretty good knowledge about the menu, but during peak hours there is a considerable delay in the getting the dishes served as the dishes are made on order.
They also have wide varieties of juices and desserts too for you to choose from to finish off the dining experience. They have a separate waiting area for their take away customers outside where you can place the order for the dishes. Whether it is a hangout with your friends or an outing with family, this is a restaurant to depend on that caters to every one of your needs, while enjoying some of the best dishes offered across different cuisines.
