People say Kuzhi Mandhi is slowly loosing its charm among the foodies in the state and then you go to Nahdi Kuzhi Mandhi and see the rush at this place. Started back in 2015 this place soon got famous for its Chicken Mandhi and Al Faham Dishes. Open from 12 pm till 11 pm, this restaurant is located at Pattambi Road, Perinthalmanna. Dinner and Lunch hour sees heavy rush with customers often waiting for their seats.
You might have experienced many types of rush but this place might just beat them all. The most interesting part is that now Kuzhi Mandhi is not that new a dish to foodies in Kerala and many of the exclusive Mandhi shops have closed its shutters. But then you get to this place and see the rush and wonder what their secret is?
If you ask its owner and head chef Harris what is the secret he will just smile and say its authenticity. Well it must be something because this place always overflows with customers whether its day or night. Infact the rush got so severe they had to put out extra chairs and tables outside to accommodate all the extra customers. And this al fresco ambience is the best place to sit down during their dinner hours.
Taste of the Mandhi Rice and the Chicken Masala is what distinguishes this place from your usual Mandhi. This dish is served with their tasty mayonnaise and special gravy to complete the experience. Mutton Mandhi gets over in the afternoon itself usually as it is prepared in limited quantity. But if you order prior then they will make it for you. They do serve Chicken Alfaham for dinner and it is often combined with Mandhi Rice and served here. This fusion dish has more takers than the regular Mandhi dish during their dinner hours.
This restaurant is located on Pattambi Road near Post office on the left side when your are coming from the Central Junction. Just hundred meters down the road from Central Junction they have parking area available for the customers but during their dinner hours you can also park on the roadsides too.
This place is truly a phenomenon and shows to the fact that if you are the best at what you do then you don’t need much dishes to satisfy your customers.
