Started a decade ago, the popularity of this hotel has grown steadily over the years. Located near Atlantis Junction at Alapat Cross Road, Kebabistan witnesses a rush of customers especially during the evenings.
This is a small but attractively designed restaurant with an air-conditioned dining hall as well as tables laid out beneath the blue sky. There is an open Tandoor where the Tandoor dishes are grilled over hot and blazing cinders.
‘Chicken Patyala’ is a dish that surprises you with each mouthful you have. Covered in a plate of chilli and palak gravy is a neatly prepared omelette that is rolled around small minced pieces of juicy chicken. The taste of the gravy with the chicken and egg is just amazing.‘Butter Chicken’ is also a tasty treat. This dish has awesome buttery gravy and soft boneless pieces of chicken that make a great combo with the ‘Butter Naan’.
If you want to try different types of Kebabs, then ‘Mix Platter Kebab’ is the ultimate choice. It contains four different types of Kebabs- Hasari, Chilli Mili, Reshmi and Hariyali. ‘Chilli Mili Kebab’ is the star among the lot with its hot red colour and spicy preparation. ‘Thangadi Kebab’- A commonly available dish is prepared with leg pieces of chicken marinated in masala and grilled in Tandoor. The chicken is little over burnt but tastes nice.
All the dishes served here taste best when had hot. There are informative waiters who provide good service. Though Kebabistan is bit expensive, the delectable dishes it offers are worth the price.
