Simply put Bharath restaurant is the complete vegetarian restaurant, which excels in any aspect of a Hotel you can imagine. Hotel Bharath is located on Chembottil lane, near Thrissur Round. Open from 6:30 am to 10:30 pm the best time to visit this restaurant will be during their morning breakfast and afternoon Meals hours. South Indian dishes such as Masala Dosa, Uzhunnu Vada, Ela Ada, Meals are some of the must try dishes from this place.
If there was a people’s choice award ever distributed to restaurants in Thrissur, Hotel Bharath would have nailed it with other contenders lagging far behind. That’s a pretty interesting feat any restaurant could achieve and given the fact that, this hotel is a pure vegetarian restaurant adds to its glory.
Started back in 1964 by K. Balakrishnan, as a single hall restaurant which served breakfast and meals, this restaurant has grown into a sensation in the food culture of the district. They have said to have introduced the North Indian cuisine to the veg foodies in the district, has been fore runners in many other features too. This restaurant on Chembottil Lane doesn’t need much direction as this place is one of the most recognizable landmarks in Thrissure Round area.
Although they do serve North Indian dishes from evening onwards, what propelled them into their legendry eatery status will be their famous South Indian cuisine. Various types of dosas and other breakfast dishes along with their meals and snacks made this restaurant attain its cult status among the foodies in the district.
Hotel Bharath has a fully air conditioned dining area which looks spick and span at any given time of the day. They have two rectangular dining areas furnished with granite topped tables and steel chairs. During their rush hours the spacious dining areas also starts over flowing with customers. Its always better to get to this place bit early before the breakfast and lunch rush sets in to have food with some piece of mind.
They have mechanized almost all their kitchen works to maintain the same taste and size of the dishes for their majority regular customers. Hygiene in every step is another one of their key qualities maintained at every stage. To ensure it they even purify the water people have wash their hands with, not once but twice.
Service at this place is also really exemplary with all uniformed staff that are more than enough in number to maintain even their most rush hours. They also have a good parking area managed by security personnel, right beside their restaurant.
The dedication of its present owners, sons of the founder, is another main reason for their huge success. Always present at the restaurant, they directly oversee all the activities of the restaurant from cooking to customer relation. Only so much can be said about this place, rest should be experienced.
