Its all about Biriyani at Habba Dum Biriyani. Chicken Biriyani with two different masalas is the main attraction of this restaurant. They are open from 11 am to 8 pm everyday except for Sundays and their afternoon lunch hours are the best time to visit them. This restaurant is located at Padinjaranghadi directly opposite Indian Oil pump.
Bringing something new to the table which your customers like is always a herculean task when it comes to the food. Have the time you can mess up and end up with something terrible. But when you try to modify a dish that has been there for quite a long time the risk is double as people are not used to such changes.
All this is comes to relevance when you taste Fried Chicken Biriyani from Habba Dum Biriyani shop. They use separately fried chicken pieces immersed in their own special masala which gives the dish an altogether fresh appeal. Very different from the usual Dum biriyanies you might have tried, this dish has garnered quite some attention among the customer base of this restaurant.
They also have your usual Dum Chicken biriyani too if you don’t want to try their fried chicken biriyani. With its very low oil preparation, this dish itself is not the same as your everyday biriyanies. They serve Mutton Biriyanies every Wednesdays and Beef Biriyani on Every Friday as they only get mutton and beef from their local vendors on these two days. This is one restaurant that doesn’t take chances with taste and quality.
This restaurant is located opposite Indian Oil Pump on Edappal - Pattambi Road on the right side at Padinjaranghadi. They do have a small parking area infront of their restaurant.
They have two small but tastefully decorated dining areas. One area is air conditioned and is used mainly as a family dining space.
The name of this place was in fact a nick name people used to call one of the owners who are brothers. They took it as a compliment and named the restaurant they started by the same name. Started back in 2015 you can easily say their dishes and attention to detail has made them one of the best restaurants in the area.
