They don’t alter the taste of the cuisine to make it more pleasing for the local populace. But this idea has surely not backfired as customers flock into this eatery making it one of the most famous restaurants in Calicut.

‘Mutton Mandhi’ a traditional Arabian dish is much in demand here. The mutton used in this preparation is marinated with special Arabian masalas that are low on spices while the rice is smeared with fat of the well-cooked mutton flesh that tastes awesome. ‘Chicken Kabsa’ is also a main course item from the Arabian menu. Cooked with special masalas, this dish has a light peppery tanginess which is its sole dominant flavor.
‘Fish Al Faham’ is basically grilled fish. The best part is you can select the fish you want from the fish counter of this restaurant before placing order for this dish.Your preferred fish is then smeared with special masala and grilled over cinders before serving hot. ‘Shawai Chicken’ is another Arabian grilled item with a unique taste. The chicken is grilled using very less but tasty spices and the pieces are served according to the customer’s request.
The restaurant has a wonderful ambience with two different air-conditioned dining areas and a party hall. You can either select the dining area on the left side which has a very youthful and lively feel or the one on the right decorated with soft lighting and semi-partitioned cabins suitable for family outings. This dining area has a very low clearance. It is quite possible to bump into something if you are above 6 feet tall.
No tension in case you drive in to this place as there is a good parking space available inside the restaurant complex. Parcel counters outside the eatery accounts for easy delivery option. Even though they have enough number of service staff, it seems insufficient especially during the dinner time rush. This often results in a rather excruciating delay in the delivery of order.
